| The Lifestream. That's what we call the river of life that circles the Planet, giving life to the world and everything in it. It provides food and water, it once powered homes, and now it heals the sick and dying. It has been a almost a year since the Lifestream rained down in the Planet as the Great Gospel and Geostigma was healed. The Planet has finally begun to truly move on from the horror of Meteor and Sephiroth. Cities are rebuilding, people are happy, and grass has begun to grow around the city of Edge. And people who should be dead are returning. Nobody knows how it happened, just that at a party held by the WRO to celebrate a year of recovery a vision of a tall, pale woman appeared before the gathered party-goers, smiled, and vanished. The next day there were reports from Mideel, where the Lifestream still bubbled out to the surface, of people washing up on the edge of the Lifestream spring, dazed, confused, and often suffering mako poisoning. The WRO brought them to their headquarters for further study, but there are still no answers and people are still showing up on Mideel. Something is wrong with the Lifestream. | ||||
